Statement

As a multidisciplinary artist with a background in Fine Art, I work with paper, damaged and discarded books and downloaded e-texts to create a broad spectrum of work from single edition publications to sculptural assemblages and illustrations.

I am constantly experimenting – manipulating a wide variety of paper to explore its texture, strength and tactile nature through tearing, folding, laminating, pulping, stitching or combining with other media.  The narrative which surrounds the finished work is informed by the original text.
